one more day...
My "baby boy" just came downstairs, barely awake, singing, "One more day, one more day, one more day till kindergarten." He has been counting down the days for the last 2 weeks. I am coping--really excited for him and this new experience--I only show him that I am thrilled for him. But I am going to miss him terribly. I am sitting here wondering where the heck the last five years have gone.

Already?? I can't believe he is old enough for kindergarten. Sad, yet exciting!
We can relate with our 2nd, starting tomorrow as well. As I looked over scrapbook pages I was printing yesterday, I had the exact same thought. :(
I learned to just enjoy each "era" as they came. Each one brought its own mixture of joy and tears, growth and frustration. They still do because I will never stop being their Mom, mommy, whatever they choose to call me (some of the names probably should be left unsaid).
This is a big step for him to be in school without Jessica. He is so ready and smart. He will do well and we hope his teacher appreciates his cute personality.
